Circa 1860 this charming Victorian pendant features a plump snake coiled around a smooth natural salmon-colored coral orb. Likely originally a cloak or stick pin that was converted at some point in its history, he makes a lovely solo statement but can play with with others in a curated collection.

Details: Measuring approximately 5/8″ north to south not including the large bail and 1/2″ east to west. Not marked for metal content but XRF tests to 14k. The pendant weighs approximately 4.4 grams. Hung from a fine 24″ gold-filled cable chain.

Condition:In excellent antique condition with a light patina. The coral has a few natural inclusions and areas with variance in saturation, but is overall a smooth salmon color.
