Here on consignment is a powerful dreadnought from McKnight that they have dubbed the MacNaught. It features their “double-top” Lutz Spruce top and just like the name implies there are two thin layers of spruce that are separated by a Nomex honey comb core. Nomex is used in the aerospace arena and found it’s way into the hands of guitar luthiers arounds 10 years ago and creates a lighter top that is responsive to the players emotion and dynamics.

There is a small blemish below the pick guard that came about during a small repair done at The Fret Shop. Other than this the guitar is in great condition. It features a decorative sound-hole on the upper bout giving the player added volume, it’s fitted with a K&K pickup and it comes with a McKnight branded moulded hardcase.
