Electronics: The bridge pickup has been rewound and the original three-way selector switch has been replaced with a five-way switch. All other electronics are original. The guitar has three single coil pickups, a five-way selector switch, a volume pot, and two tone pots. The pot codes date to 1966 and 1969.

Hardware: Original hardware. The bridge cover has been removed but is included in the case. The tremolo arm is not original. The back plate has been removed.

Cosmetic Condition: This vintage Fender guitar has aged well and is in good condition. The finish is glossy with light surface scratching, small finish chips, and spots of abrasion wear throughout. In particular, the sides of the body and the back at the tremolo spring cover show wear through the finish. The headstock’s face shows finish checking and chipping throughout. The metal hardware is lightly tarnished with age.
Modifications/Repairs: The headstock has been refinished and the decal has been replaced. The bridge pickup has been rewound and the original three-way selector switch has been replaced with a five-way selector. The body has been routed for a humbucker in the bridge position; this cavity has since been refilled. The back plate has been removed. The guitar has been refretted.

Tech Notes: The guitar plays well with low action and optimal neck relief. The frets are medium with light play wear. The tremolo arm is not original. The serial number dates to 1969 and the neck stamp reads “22 485 119B.”
