This is yet another case of The Music Zoo saying “what if?” and the Gibson Custom Shop saying “yes!” This guitar is a 1958 Les Paul Reissue with a trapeze tailpiece that we’ve dubbed the 1958 “EZ Feel” Les Paul due to the slinkier feel from the decreased break angle of the strings over the bridge saddles – much like when you “top wrap” your Les Paul. The guitar has a slight increase in acoustic resonance, much like you’re playing something like a Gibson ES model, plus it just adds a unique look to the platform of a Les Paul! This one features a Murphy Lab Light Aged Factory Burst finish and a set of nickel-covered Custombuckers.
